Coloring Tee Time

It’s Coloring Tee Time!

Last week I brought a set of washable coloring markers made by Play Day and colored in one of my coloring tees.  The colors went on well, vibrant, and the shirt was easy to color. The only problem was that the makers didn’t dry quick and I got marker smudges on the side of my hands. The good thing is that the smudges wore off quick so it wasn’t a big deal. I’m not sure how much color I’ll get out of the markers but so far so good. And now that I know the marker directions show I’ll try to color better. I really didn’t think about it until I was almost finished. For some reason, I thought the colors were going to blend in more. I’m going to press the same design on the back and color it in with some fabric markers to see the differences. I’ll then wash it to see how the colors hold up. I’ll post once I get the results.

5K Walk, Ice Cream and an Arm Painting of Talee with Banna Pudding on the side

IceCreamFestJust had a fun morning and a great 5K Walk at the Ice Cream Festival at Piedmont Park in Atlanta with my daughter and friends. Stopped by Fancy’s Face And Body Art booth and got a nice arm painting of Talee done. Thanks Frances “Fancy”Muslar! And brought a Banna Pudding in a jar from Cook Me Up A Notch.  It’s for my husband… not about to eat up the calories I just burned. 😆

For now on, when I go to festival, I want a arm painting of Talee to help advertise.

BE Adventurous Talee T-shirts

IMG_0040I printed / pressed some T-Shirts yesterday. It took about 4 prints to get the colors correct. I realized on the 3rd print that my printing settings on the printer were wrong, but they are correct now.  I’m also playing around with rather I want shadows and highlights or not. In my house it’s 50/50. I’m not sure you can really tell from these pictures but…What do you think? The one on the left has the highlights and shadows like the original graphic. Right now I’m going with the shadows and highlights.

Since I can only print up to an 8.5×11, these shirts will be mainly for toddlers. Which is the audience for Talee anyway. They’ll be available on the new site once it’s launched but will take orders now if anyone wants one. Shipping takes 3-5 days. The shirts are 100% cotton and are printed on Precious Cargo Tees… a really good quality shirt. Available in 2T, 3T and 4T ( note: I only have 2 of the 4Ts left).  Buy now for $10.99 and I’ll include shipping for this item only.
